Annual Appeal 2016

Picture
Our holistic approach and methodology are based on more than a decade of hard science, hard work and the dedication of a team of open and innovative education, medical and therapeutic experts. We are thrilled that our model of education is has such profound success. We understand the complex challenges our students face. Everyday we deploy the innovations, rigor, and devotion it takes to surmount them. Each of our 122 students is treated as a person, not a problem. They are not defined not by their limits, but by their abilities.

But this approach takes resources, so we can provide the extra-curricular activities that unlock our students’ minds and give them the confidence to keep on trying. We don’t even like to refer to them as “extras” because to us planting a garden, performing and visual arts, riding horseback, and learning life skills are not extras. They are essentials.

The funds the school receives in tuition aren’t nearly enough to cover the real costs of all we must offer to affect change. That is why we ask that you consider Celebrate the Children in your year-end giving.

Support such as yours plays an essential role in sustaining Celebrate the Children as a model school dedicated to developmental and educational programs meeting the diverse needs of children with difficulties in relating, communicating and thinking. With your help, we'll raise funds to support, enhance, and expand our programs that look at the overall development of a child or young adult allowing them to reach his or her highest potential and find success in society.

Below is a list of what your contributions help to cover:
  • $25 pays for a year’s worth of art supplies for one student
  • $50 provides funding for Floortime toys
  • $100 provides funding for new Occupational Therapy equipment in our Sensory Rooms
  • $300 covers the cost of one pair of wireless noise cancelling smart earbuds
  • $500 covers the cost of a tablet and apps that allow for communication, socialization & academic participation
  • $1000 provides funding for our teaching garden for the year
  • $2,500 provides funding for our swimming program for two semesters
  • $5,000 provides funding for our horseback-riding program for one semester
  • $10,000 provides funding for our performing arts program and annual production
