A Parent Reflection:
Finding Belonging at Celebrate the Children Amrita began her CTC school journey in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. Before finding Celebrate the Children (CTC), we were preparing to pack our bags and move to another state in search of the right placement for her. At the last moment, we chose to go against that decision and give CTC a try and that turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made for Amrita. During our out-of-district placement discussions, the district superintendent once asked us why we were considering pulling Amrita out of the district when we had been advocating for her inclusion all along. That question helped us clarify what inclusion truly means to us. We realized that true inclusivity is not just about being included or mainstreamed; it is about building trusting relationships, feeling a sense of belonging, and being genuinely understood and supported. At CTC, Amrita found exactly that. She has received not only inclusion, but also a nurturing, fostering environment where she feels safe, valued, and accepted. We are incredibly proud of how far she has come, and her growth is a reflection of the thoughtful and intentional support she receives every day. We would like to sincerely acknowledge the exceptional staff at CTC, who consistently go above and beyond to accommodate Amrita’s needs. They continually encourage us to try new approaches, partner with us as parents, and support Amrita through each stage of her development as we move through this journey together. We have truly found our community at Celebrate the Children, and most importantly, Amrita feels safe, supported, and valued there. For that, we are deeply grateful. |

As we continue to move forward in our mission to support our students and families, we are extremely grateful for your generosity of both donations and financial support over the past year. As a result, we have been able to continue to support our state-of-the-art program and upgrade our facility. Each and every year, we assess how to improve and to provide a richer educational and developmental environment for our students. We take this responsibility very seriously. Our enrollment continues to be the highest to date and we are very fortunate to have partnered with new school districts, community partners and stakeholders who all share the same vision as CTC. Together, we are making great strides and a huge difference in the lives of our CTC Community.
This school year, our focus is on positive growth and mindset using the tenet of When We Believe, We Succeed. In word and action, we believe that our students are capable and intelligent. We believe in the power of partnering with families and caregivers as a united team. We believe in training our staff to be the best educators. We believe in being the best we can be. As CTC is a not-for-profit organization, we rely on fundraising and financial support for the advancement and expansion of our programming, technology, initiatives and new ideas. Celebrate the Children has always been unique in our DIR Methodology and educational practices. We are truly grateful if you would donate to our year-end appeal.
