It’s Fall! Each season has its own charm, but autumn brings about apple picking, sweaters, Halloween, bright colored leaves and football. It is also National Physical Therapy Month. With the increase of football on TV and in your neighborhood high school field, the physical therapists wanted to share an article from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that discusses concussions from football. Please go to the link below and share the information with your family. http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp/pdf/Football_Fact_Sheet_Coaches-a.pdf

I am a member of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey's Youth and Adolescent Committee and would like to share the link to some of NJBIA many resources on concussion for both families and professionals.
