Many learning environments today do not provide our neurodiverse children with opportunities to tap into their unique strengths, but rather unintentionally create barriers and obstacles for our students to learn and flourish. We are all uniquely wired and sometimes our children need a little extra help finding their gifts and tools to chanel them appropriately. It’s important that we stop pathologizing and looking for “cures” and start celebrating neurodiversity and the unique differences that make our children who they are. Shifting the way we think about our children’s innate characteristics may help us see the whole child and start to uncover unlocked potential, or “superpowers.” Read more Image from: Pexels

Absolutely love this perspective! It's so true that each child has their own unique set of strengths and abilities, and it's crucial to recognize and celebrate those differences rather than trying to fit everyone into the same mould. It's like discovering their own special superpowers! In fact, kids craft (https://www.confettiblue.com/) can be a fantastic way to tap into those superpowers. They offer a creative outlet where kids can express themselves.
