Julie was a rare, generous soul who always had something positive to say. She was a supporter of our school, Celebrate the Children, from the very beginning. In fact, she donated our first school minivan from her Nissan dealership back in 2007 when we were just a small start-up program. That was only the beginning.

Throughout the years, Julie contributed to many of our school events and volunteered in our classrooms with our students. She eventually became a Board Member for the Profectum Foundation and has supported the organization through donations, her time, and guidance over the last 5 years.

Julie loved the students, staff, and families from both organizations, and her face just lit up every time she interacted with us. Julie was also a dear, dear friend, and we will miss her terribly. Although she was taken from this Earth far too young, her selflessness and caring will live on forever through our organizations.

Memorial Contributions

Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor Julie's favorite causes. Julie was a passionate supporter of autism programs and was involved with both Celebrate the Children School and the Profectum Foundation.  She generously volunteered at Celebrate the Children working with the students and sat on the Board of Directors for Profectum for many years.
About Celebrate the Children School
Celebrate the Children is a non-profit, state-approved private school, which serves students ages 3-21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other challenges in relating and communicating, has been operating in New Jersey for over 20 years. Celebrate the Children is the only school of its kind in New Jersey and one of a handful of schools across the country that uses DIR® (Developmental Individual Relationship-Based), an approach to intervention centered on helping students build positive relationships, regulate their emotions, engage in productive communication, and think creatively.

In order to best prepare students to lead successful and meaningful lives, Celebrate the Children combines rigorous academic, vocational, and behavioral experiences with appropriate social-emotional supports through an engaging and experiential learning environment. Collectively, the school accomplishes this by recognizing each student’s unique strengths as future assets and providing a real-life therapeutic atmosphere that fosters growth and encourages independence.
