Russell Breninger &
The Garden State H.O.G. Chapter

Russell Breninger is the Director of Garden State Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) based out of Garden State Harley-Davidson in Morris Plains, NJ. Garden State H.O.G. is a group of over 100 individuals brought together by the common love of motorcycle riding and a deep commitment to the community.

Annually, Garden State H.O.G. volunteers bring awareness, donate goods and raise many thousands of dollars in support of local charities. Chapter members have recently participated in rides, donation drives and charity events to benefit  a number of charities including Celebrate the Children School, Special Olympics NJ, Deidre’s House, Hoving Home, Family Promise of Morris County, The S.O.A.P. Project, New Jersey Battered Women’s Services, Garden State C.O.P.S., CAN Abolition Network, Lakeland Association of Churches Food Pantry among others, Morris Plains Fire Department, Forever Friends Motorcycle Awareness, The Eric C. Blohm Foundation and the Police Unity Tour.

Russell assumed the Director’s role in January 2021.  His long-standing commitment to the safety of his fellow riders is demonstrated by his annual hosting of the national Accident Scene Management program, volunteer work as a Stop the Bleed instructor and the parking lot Cone Crusher program designed to improve riding skills and promote defensive riding.  He has helped establish the New Jersey Rescue Riders to help other motorcycle groups on charity rides.
Russell is self-employed in the telecommunications industry with a career spanning over 30 years.
