Stanley’s Pantry helps provide our students and families in need with fresh and healthy food at lunchtime, the holiday season, and beyond.
We put our own spin on Giving Tuesday 2021 with a #GivingFOODSday campaign, a special fundraiser to help provide lunches to our students who would qualify for free/reduced lunch in their school districts. Since we are a non-profit private school without facilities to provide on-site lunch, we cannot participate in the federally funded program.
The cost to provide lunches to those students is about $60 per day or a little over $10,000 for the school year. Moving beyond lunchtime, we wanted to help provide our students, families, and staff members with healthy foods year-round, and were thrilled to announce the opening of our very own, student-managed food pantry, Stanley's Pantry in 2022. |
