Fishing will introduce our students as gateway experience to many of our environmental education initiatives. Recreational fishing is a way to engage students in a lifelong activity that will help them overcome fears of the water and the outdoors. Fishing encourages stewardship, healthier lifestyles, potential careers in applied & life sciences, and conservation. It’s a sensory banquet providing recreation and relaxation.
