Sara Ann Rickles Center For Independent Living

Picture
In June of 2017, through the donations of our generous supporters, The Sara Ann Rickles Center for Independent Living was created in honor of Sara Ann Rickles.

The Sara Ann Rickles Center for Independent Living plays an essential role in sustaining Celebrate the Children as a model school dedicated to developmental and educational programs meeting the diverse needs of children and young adults with difficulties in relating, communicating and thinking.  This program has had an important impact on our ability to address the needs of the present and ensure the quality of not only Celebrate the Children’s future, but our students’ future as well. As a result of this program, students have been given the opportunity to utilize an experience-based learning environment that expands the possibilities of independent living including employment, housing, social and community engagement, and more.

Currently, the Sara Ann Rickles Center for Independent Living is undergoing a small facelift!  Painting, new furniture and updated lighting are just a few of the improvements you will see over the next few months!
